Girls' STEM Day
We believe strongly that all children benefit when they have an opportunity to engage in STEM activities. However, we also know that women make up only 34% of the STEM workforce, and men vastly outnumber women in most STEM fields in college. To help make sure the girls in our community don't miss out on the opportunity to gain hands-on robotics and STEM experience, we host an annual Girls STEM Day. Organized, hosted, and run primarily by our female high school members, Girls STEM Day provides a day for young girls to get connected to all aspects of STEM. Participants get to build Lego robots to play a game, try out fun science experiments, and check out our competition-ready FRC robot.
Girls STEM Day is usually held in March. Check back here for more information as we get closer to our next event.
