Whidbey Island Robotics Club

In early 2020, Team 2980 sent 10 team members to Costa Rica to collaborate with La Escuela de Los Amigos and start an FLL team. 2980 led them through the basics of FLL in a two-day LEGO robotics camp and taught 10 teachers about LEGO robotics so they can continue this program, benefitting all of the 100 students at the school. Although COVID has prevented the school from meeting in person this year, we plan to continue helping this new team via Skype.
